Feed Me Like You Mean It

Alex is a fermenter, health coach, software engineer, real food activist, trained chef, raw milk drinker, and urban bicyclist. He writes the blog, Feed Me Like You Mean It. He thinks that Ball jars are the ultimate glassware. His heroes include Sandor Katz, Sally Fallon Morell, Vandana Shiva, Kurt Vonnegut, and Anthony Bourdain.
Andrew Weil was one of the first influences on Alex’s food consciousness. Weil taught him that pharmaceuticals are not the answer for many chronic health problems. Barry Sears taught him that the Standard American Diet is just that — SAD. For a long time, he read all the health and wellness books he could find. Many of them struck a chord, but he always felt like he was getting only a small piece of the story. When he found Sally Fallon Morell and read the introduction to Nourishing Traditions, everything finally came together.
In his blog, Alex brings together the legacy of Weston A. Price, basic truths about how humans and animals are meant to live, hope for a long and healthy life on the earth, and his love of food in general and of fermented vegetables and dairy in particular. He hopes that you enjoy it.
